GENERIC TRAVEL TIPS
1. Tie an identifying piece of ribbon or shoelace onto the handle/zipper. Even if you have an unusual color/patterned bag – it’s amazing how often someone else will have the same one. The likelihood of them having the same bit of ribbon tied on is really small. It also makes your bag more quickly identifiable on the luggage carousels without the need to check address tags.
2. Take a photo of your luggage just before you leave for the airport. If it gets lost its a lot easier to fill in the lost luggage forms if you can refer to a picture to be able to give them the color, zipper color, tag color any identifying writing on the outside etc.
