On a recent cruise with some friends (our DIS-Peeps!) we decided to rent a Cabana for our day at Castaway Cay. Our cabana was #6 and was located just adjacent to the family beach. For the day they list your names on the placard outside the entrance to the Cabana you have been assigned. The cost of these Cabanas is expensive however if you split the cost among three couples like we did the costs are more manageable. I will list the costs later in this artical.
Below are pictures from the front side of our Cabana, as you can see in the pictures they are spacious. They include special softer towels as a part of the rental, a refrigerator loaded with Coke products and bottles of water, a fruit platter. Also included is complimentary sun tan lotion.

Cabanas are furnished with cushioned chairs, chaise lounges, side tables and a dining table.
Also included in the rental was complimentary water floaters, tubes, etc. Available from the check in point for the Cabanas was also snorkeling equipment as a part of the rental as well.
Each of the cabanas are 325-square-foot cabanas and are divided between Castaway Family Beach and Serenity Bay Beach. On the family beach cabana’s 1-16 are located at the far end of the Family beach, offering a little more seclusion, along with a great view of the ship from the cabana’s front deck.
Cabanas can be reserved online ahead of time or at the Port Adventures desk while onboard the ship. They will hold a maximum of 6 guests for the $499 per cabana fee. This cost includes a cabana host which is shared among the 16 Family Beach cabana’s. An additional 4 guests can join the party at a cost of $50 per person over the 6 people. 10 is the absolute maximum allowed per cabana.
The cabana’s 17-20 are located on the Adult Beach (Serenity Bay) and are $399 per cabana. The include all of the above amenities as well.
